PROJECT EXPERIENCE

The following profiles outline some of our team members domestic and international Projects  experience.

Tesla Lithium Refinery Project, Texas, USA 

Tesla is building an in-house lithium refinery, located in the greater Corpus Christi area of Texas. The 1,200+ acre site will be the location of the first industrial deployment of an acid-free lithium refining route. Once complete, the facility will represent an investment of >$1B in Southwest Texas.

ROLE: Supply Chain Management Services for the Owner

Port Hope Area Initiative ( PHAI) Nuclear Remediation Program, Ontario, Canada

The Port Hope Area Initiative (PHAI) represents the Government of Canada’s commitment to the cleanup and safe, local, long-term management of historic low-level radioactive waste (LLRW) in two Southern Ontario municipalities – Port Hope and Clarington. 

The PHAI is based on community-recommended solutions for the cleanup and safe long-term management of approximately 1.7 million cubic meters of Low Level Radioactive Waste. It is currently one of Canada’s largest environmental remediation projects.

ROLE:  Contracts Management Services for the Owner.

Surmont 2 SAGD Project, Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada

Project involved the expansion of the Surmont steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) plant to increase its production capacity from the existing 27,000 barrels of bitumen a day to 36,000 barrels of bitumen a day.

ROLE: Prime Contract and Subcontract management services for the Water and Oil Treatment Units Contractor.

Nova Chemicals – Polyethylene 1 Expansion Project, Red Deer, Canada

This $1 Billion Project involved the Construction of a world-scale polyethylene reactor (R3) to augment existing plant capacity by 40%.

ROLE: Subcontractor management for the R3 Revamp scope Contractor.

Husky Energy – Raw Water  Pipeline Riser Site Earthworks, Alberta, Canada

New 60km Raw Water Pipeline installed to provide water to new SAGD facilities. 

ROLE: Owner’s Representative Construction management services provided to ensure the project was completed safely, ontime and under budget.

Husky Energy – Spruce Lake Central “B” Wellpad, Alberta, Canada.

The Spruce Lake Central “B” Wellpad is a growth pad installed to provide to the CPF. This was the first wellpad installed in the area for the project.

ROLE: Owner’s Representative providing full project lifecycle project and construction management.  Activities consisted of monitoring and reporting on budget, schedule, progress and reporting to all stakeholders.

Teck – Water Treatment Facility Elk Valley, British Colombia, Canada

New construction of a Water Treatment Plant to remove selenium from the water providing a clean solution downstream of the Fording River Mine Operations.

ROLE: Construction management team member providing schedule and budget updates as well as supporting contractors with RFi’s and Inspections on behalf of Fluor.

Rail Loading and Onloading Tank Farm , Vaughan, Ontario, Canada 

New construction of a fuel terminal providing Diesel, regular unleaded, premium unleaded and ethanol by way of rail and truck to the greater Toronto area.

ROLE: Construction management team member providing schedule and budget updates as well as supporting contractors with RFI’s and Inspections on behalf of the EPC.

NWR Refinery Flare Line and Knock Out Drum Installation, Alberta, Canada 

New construction of the NWR Refinery including the flare line, flare stack and knock out drum installation. The vessel weighed in at a phenomenal 1.1 million pounds and the lift was completed without injury or incident.

The rehabilitation work included excavation and disposal of existing pavement, and replacement of existing catch basins.
